All Mawelton campers participate in all our activities. Taking place four per day between Devotions and lunch, they are scheduled daily by Uncle Bill, taught by our talented counselors, and attended in groups of five or six campers at a time. While our living and dining arrangements are of mixed ages, we find that teaching is most efficient and effective when working with a consistently-grouped level of ability, attention span, and general size, so age groups work best.

Activities include: Swimming, Horseback Riding, Riflery, Archery, Tennis, Climbing, Crafts, Football, Lacrosse, Soccer, Wrestling, Basketball, Softball, Golf, and Skeet (older campers only). Often, we have a counselor or two on staff who have a specific skill (e.g. tae kwon do, orienteering, guitar, etc), and we always do our best to utilize that counselor’s talent and enthusiasm by adding his activity to the rotation.
